Widening the way in.
Motorsport is a powerful platform for showing young people what engineering can be.
Wavey Dynamics uses outreach to widen access, raise ambition and make technical careers feel more visible and achievable. The work is especially focused on inspiring a more diverse future talent base in motorsport, STEM and high-performance engineering.
This has included school visits, exhibitions, educational activities and media appearances designed to explain what engineers do, how technical careers develop and why motorsport can be more than entertainment.
Race Engineering Simulation
Wavey Dynamics developed an activation for children aged 11–14, using an interactive motorsport introduction with remote control car to engage and inspire young people into STEM careers.
To date, this activation has been deployed with projects spanning the Mission 44 x Motorsport UK: Race for Diversity project and the AFBE (Association for Black Engineers) Ignite program in collaboration with Mission 44 with great success.
Sky Sports
Jahee Campbell-Brennan appeared as part of a Sky Sports feature on Black figures in motorsport, discussing initiatives and ambitions within motorsport and high-performance engineering.
Black STEAM @ Birmingham Science Museum
Wavey Dynamics took part in The Black STEAM event, speaking to children and young people about STEM opportunities through motorsport.
